A web developer (PHP / JavaScript) is needed to join the Web Solutions Team based in Amersham. You will be tasked with bringing the creative vision to life through your technical know-how. Expect to build some exciting websites using a combination of well-structured, reusable and modular code as well as using open source, prewritten products or source code libraries. You'll need to keep abreast of the latest trends within web development, and you'll be expected to input expert and inspiring ideas into technical projects.
We are looking for a developer who can show:
- A firm understanding of PHP programming and MySQL integration;
- Knowledge of JavaScript;
- A solid understanding of HTML and CSS;
- The ability to create well-designed, reusable code;
- Basic knowledge of Linux servers and command line procedures;
- Good understanding of complex databases, web concepts and design implications.
- Good understanding of code versioning tools as GIT.
- Knowledge of PHP frameworks such as CodeIgniter, Laravel.
- Good knowledge on how to design and manage APIs.

Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year depending upon experience
For the right candidate this position will also require being involved in estimating, meeting clients, taking briefs, doing demonstrations and designing a solution to meet the customer requirements.
Attention to detail, quality and professionalism are key for this role. A good communicator, you will be confident dealing with people at all levels. In addition, you should be capable of working as a team member or individually to meet deadlines.
